Offsite Proxmox Backup — Your VMs protected in a French datacenter

Thanks to PBS native deduplication, only modified blocks are transferred after the first full backup. A 100 Mbps connection is sufficient for most infrastructures. For the initial backup of large volumes, we can provide a physical disk for direct import (seed).

Duration depends on volume and bandwidth. For 1 TB on a 1 Gbps connection, expect about 3 hours. Subsequent backups are block-level incremental and take only a few minutes.

From the Proxmox VE interface, select the NimbusBackup datastore, choose the desired snapshot and start the restore. On disk-based plans the data is online, so the restore starts immediately; its duration depends on your volume and your bandwidth. We do not commit to it contractually, we measure it during accompanied tests. Our team can assist you in case of emergency.

Yes, AES-256 encryption is applied client-side before transmission. Your data travels through an encrypted tunnel and is stored encrypted on our servers. We never have access to your data in clear text.
